When you reach adolescence and begin to have erections, it is normal for the penis to become longer, harder, its color to turn dark and protrude from your body. Some are straight, some curve to the left or right, and others tilt up or down.
All these erections are normal, and no curvature, inclination or angle prevents sexual intercourse. Very rarely the penis can curve so much that it is difficult to have sex. If you think this is your case, go to the doctor to make sure there are no problems with it.
It is likely that you continue having erections until you are an ancient man, or perhaps throughout your life. These occur when the blood fills the spongy cylinders that surround the penis, which makes it very hard. The erection can be spontaneous, which means that it can get erect in any daily situation when the least you think about is sex. If you do not touch your penis during a spontaneous erection, it will disappear on its own very soon afterward.
Most erections are the result of stimulation: when your penis rubbed or caressed sexually. But kids do not always need to be touched to get turned on. Biologically, men have an acute visual response, so that an erotic image – be it in a photograph, in the imagination or just in front of you – can become an erection.
Continuous rubbing usually leads to orgasm. Afterwards, your penis will quickly become soft again. Then you will have to wait 10 or 15 minutes, or even longer before you can have another erection.
Do you have erection problems?
The penises do not always get erect when you want. It makes many men feel desperate, even the first time it happens. But the flaccidity, when what you want is the hardness of steel, is something that sooner or later happens to everyone.
There is almost always a temporary and straightforward cause, such as drinking too much alcohol. It inhibits the blood flow to the penis, which means that there is no erection. Drugs can also make erections difficult. Like extreme fatigue (too many part-time jobs), stress (you have problems at home), anxiety (you are with the person of your dreams, and you are afraid of failing) and worry (once you did not achieve an erection) and you fear that it will happen to you again.
Not achieving an erection occasionally is not the same as impotence, which is a chronic state. If you do not worry about it, it may not happen again in a long time. A penis that is very long when it is flaccid will not be much more significant when it is erect, while a small penis will be considerably more giant when it is upright.
How is the erection of women?
When they are sexually stimulated, the clitoris becomes congested with blood in the same way as the penis which results in an erection, although much smaller. At this stage, the clitoris is very sensitive, so it retracts under the hood to protect. The vaginal lips are also congested and bulging. After the orgasm, the blood leaves the area and the clitoris and lips quickly recover their normal stage.
